Garlic Rice Recipe:
Ingredients:
- 2 cups cooked rice (preferably long-grain rice)
- 4-5 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter
- Salt to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper (optional)
- Chopped parsley or green onions for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- In a big skillet set over medium heat, preheat butter or olive oil.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook, moving regularly to avoid burning, until aromatic and beginning to turn a light golden brown, about one to two minutes.
- Stir the cooked rice into the skillet with the garlic after adding it.
- Cook the rice for a further three to four minutes, stirring now and then, until it’s well warm and flavorful from the garlic.
- To taste, add salt to the garlic rice to season it. If you want like, you can also add freshly ground black pepper for flavor.
- When finished, take the skillet off of the burner and place the garlic rice to a platter.
- If desired, garnish with chopped parsley or green onions. Serve hot as a flavorful side dish or as a foundation for your preferred meal.
